Start Your Day with Scrumptious Dairy-Free Smoothies

There’s nothing like a refreshing smoothie to start off your day. Not only are fruit smoothies absolutely delicious, but since fruit is full of fiber, it helps to keep you full all the way until lunchtime.  Make a large batch of your favorite smoothie recipe on Sunday, grab some mason jars and toss them in the freezer for a healthy breakfast every morning!

If you haven’t explored the wonderful world of fruit smoothies yet, let me share with you my favorite concoctions! To top it off, all of these recipes are dairy-free. Talk about vegan heaven! While you can basically use any fruit combination, some sort liquid and any additional sweeteners, these mixtures definitely take the cake!

 

Sweet Strawberry Banana Smoothie

2 cups of fresh or frozen strawberries

1 ripe banana

¼ cup of unsweetened almond milk (I love silk)

2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey

Mix ingredients in blender & blend until smooth.

 

Grrrrreat Green Smoothie

1 ½ cups fresh spinach

1 banana

1 tbsp. organic peanut butter

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 tsp. honey

5 ice cubes

Mix ingredients in blender & blend until smooth.

 

Coconut Mango Creamsicle Smoothie

1 cup of coconut milk

1 banana

½ cup frozen mango chunks

Ice as needed

Mix ingredients in blender & blend until smooth.

 

Protein-Packed Berry Smoothie

1 cup water

1 scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder

½ cup frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc.)

1 tbsp. chia seeds

1 cup frozen spinach

Mix ingredients in blender & blend until smooth.

 

 

Amazing Avocado Blueberry Smoothie 

1 cup almond milk

¼ avocado

½ cup frozen blueberries

2 tbsp. dry old fashioned oats

1 tbsp. raw sunflower seeds

½ tsp. ground cinnamon

Mix ingredients in blender & blend until smooth.
