Vegan Supplements

We’re all familiar with that dreaded question by now, ‘so, where do you get your protein from?’. Look, as annoying as that question has become, protein is important, and we do need to get a certain percentage of our daily calorie intake from protein.

And that can be hard, even with all the nutritious food you might be taking in daily. While supplements aren’t absolutely essential, they will certainly help you meet your goals, and we’ve put together some of our favourites here.

Vega Protein Powder

Ensuring you’re getting enough protein through your vegan diet is important, and taking vegan supplements can help you meet your goals - particularly if you’re looking to build muscle. Vega protein is our personal favourite. It has 20 grams of plant-based protein and just 110 calories per serving. Vega protein also mixes into a thick shake, which is quite satiating.

Meal Replacement

Perfect for the ‘on-the-go’ vegan. Vega meal replacements are completely plant-based, and provide you with 50% of your daily vitamin & mineral intake, as well as 25% of your fibre needs. This product also contains omega-3s, probiotics, and antioxidants. For a really delicious and filling smoothie, add cocoa powder, banana, and ice!

Protein Bars

It’s not just the 15 grams of plant-based proteins that makes these Vega bars so good. They also contain 2.5 grams of BCAAs and 2 grams of glutamine which helps with recovery! These bars are filling, and are another must-have for vegans on-the-go.

Green Superfood

We love the idea of adding a scoop of this to our daily shakes when there are no fresh vegetables around. As we know, greens have a short shelf life, so you always want to make sure you’re able to incorporate your veggies and antioxidants without having to worry about buying fresh spinach or kale daily from the grocery store.
