Replace eggs 

The Chia Egg will be your best friend after going vegan! It’s so simple and you won’t even be able to tell the difference.

Grind up 1 TBS of chia seeds into a fine powder, add 1/3C of water and mix. Set the mixture aside for 10-15 minutes and you’ll see it turn into a gel. PERFECT for replacing eggs in baking recipes!

Use plant milk instead of regular milk

Substituting non-dairy milk into a recipe is easy and won’t mess up your outcome at all! Just use the same proportions and make sure you’re using the right type of milk for the flavour you’re looking for. Unsweetened Almond Milk is a great substitute without too much extra flavour if that is what you’re looking for!

 

Coconut Whipped Cream

If you’re craving whipped cream on top of your hot cocoa or looking to dress up your freshly baked cake, you can use coconut milk for a vegan whipped cream! You’ll just need to refrigerate the coconut milk overnight and then whip it the next day until you get that fluffy consistency.

Swap butter for mashed avocado 

Imagine your favourite chocolate cake, only now its an avocado chocolate cake! Sounds like the perfect match. The mashed avocado really just adds a beautiful smooth texture to the cake and you won’t be able to taste the avocado flavour.
